BIRTHDAY WEEKEND

We celebrated 3 birthdays this weekend in our family. On Wednesday, Jan. 27th was Cade's brother Tylers birthday. We were so lucky to have him in town to celebrate. Tyler is so fun to have around. He is so generous and always willing to help. We love you Ty!!

On Thursday, Jan 28th I turned 23!! Wow I'm getting old! I worked all day but my Mom, Julie, Cam, Kiki and Emmers came and took me to Robintinos for lunch. Then Cade took me to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and to see Leap Year! (Dumb show by the way). It was a fun night!!

Cade got me this darling purse!! I love it!

Then on Friday Cade's parents took us to dinner for my birthday. We went to PF Changs!! It was so yummy.

On Saturday my parents took us to dinner to my favorite restaurant 5 Alls!! It was so delicious!!

My mom gave me a purse, money, and a gift card to get a pedicure!! Can you tell I love purses?
My cute brother Tom gave me tickets to see Daughtry with him in concert in April. I am way stoked and can't wait to go with him!! Thanks everyone for making my birthday so great!!
Then on Friday, Jan. 29th was my sister's husband, Ricks birthday. He is so fun to play games with and is always a good sport. We love you Rick!!

THE HOLIDAYS

We had such a fun Christmas season spending lots of time with our families! Christmas is a favorite for both of us so we hate to see it go by so fast. We both had great phone calls from our brothers in England and Sweden and loved talking with them. We got spoiled rotten by our parents and grandparents with money, a bosch mixer for my kitchen and a fireplace for our house. I hear lots of people say that Christmas isn't the same as when you were young...not for Cade and I. We both still get really excited and have a hard time sleeping on Christmas Eve because we just can't wait for Santa to come! It's kind of funny. Still kids at heart I guess. Needless to say we are real excited about a new year!! Bring it on!

THANKSGIVING = ALL NIGHT SHOPPING

We had such a fun and relaxing Thanksgiving. We spent the day at my mom's with my Grandma and Grandpa Rudd and my dad's brother and family. It was an extra special day because that's the day Julie came home from the hospital with Emmers....So we basically spent the entire day staring at her. Later that night we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Lancaster of course to eat more!! By this time of night we were just getting started....well some of us. At midnight my brother Dan, cousin Mandie and I (Cade was sleeping. Couldn't pay him to come with us) were rushing into the South Towne Mall to start our night of shopping. We finally decided we had had enough at 10 am the next morning. We had so much fun and wow all I can say is Dan sure is a trooper. Seriously a 16 year old boy shopping for 10 hours straight with 2 girls who live to shop..Ya I would say he's a stud all right!

We were SO tiredI seriously got stuck in this shirt. It had a scarf connected to it and it got stuck on my head. We had to get a picture besides it was so late...or early however you want to look at it.After our shopping we went up to the Winegars to spend Thanksgiving with them. We had dinner with them on Friday so the whole family could be there together. It's always so fun when we can all be together. Once again delicious food and playing with babies all day long. We sure love our families and are so blessed to be apart of them.

EMILY PACK

My sister had a baby on November 24th and let me tell you...she is SO cute! She was 7 lbs 12 oz and 19 inches long. She didn't find out what she was having so it was such a fun surprise. She came just in time for Thanksgiving weekend. I love how little newborns are. So coot!My neice and nephew, Katie and Cameron, are so funny about nicknames. It took a long time for them to be ok with me calling them Kiki and Cam. As soon as Emily was born I called her Emmers and surprisingly enough they were ok with it. Kiki has been sick with croup since Emmers was born so she hasn't been able to hold her yet and it is so sad. Cam on the other hand has had a little bit of a struggle. He wanted a brother so bad so getting used to the fact that he has another sister has been rough. He has grown to love her though and they are both having so much fun with a new baby around the house. What a cute family!! We love you guys!

MOVED IN

We got all the remodeling done and have officially moved in to our house. We are mostly settled all but just a few little projects. We sure appreciate everyone's help with the move. We are so blessed to have found this wonderful place to live and to be able to call OUR home. It's been so fun to make it ours.

OUR HOUSE

Cade and I have been looking for a house since May and we finally found one! We had only been looking at houses and then finally in September we decided to open our options and look at town homes as well. Funny how everything works out because the first town home we looked at we loved and made an offer. We are so excited to finally have our own place. We are doing some remodeling before we move in so it will be a couple more weeks until we are settled. We got all the carpet and kitchen floor pulled up on Wednesday. (Thanks to my brother Dan). The walls in the home were quite strange colors so we started painting today and with TONS of help got the walls all painted. We sure appreciate everyones help!!

BEFORE
See what I mean about the colors?
My adorable nephew Cam was so excited to help rip out the carpet. He is such a good helper.
I'll post after pictures when it's all done!
